Lee Wagner

My experiences as a combat veteran have shaped my opinions and thoughts on death and morality. I truly believe that we are not promised the next breath, and living in the now, with a healthy understanding of the dying process, is the best way to prepare for our own end. I have lost close family members and many friends to all sorts of death. As a father I feel it is important that we prepare ourselves for our own death and help our children, partners and loved ones to prepare for their own end of life.

I work full-time in hospice care, and I have been a hospice volunteer for six years. I hold a Masters of Community Psychology from Point Park and I am a trained yoga and meditation instructor. In the summer of 2024, I will be completing my training as a death doula with the University of Vermont.

It is my wish to help any and all with needs and questions surrounding their own death or the death of loved ones, including the moral issues that can come with dying. My passion lies in supporting veterans, military, first-responders, and their families with end-of-life needs. These groups of people often have moral injuries that can compromise a peaceful death. I have the experience and education needed to support these individuals during the dying process. Specific to veterans, I can assist with military/veteran funeral services, Department of Veterans Affairs benefits, and healing and spiritual instructions for those dealing with morality concerns at the end of life.

I welcome the opportunity to support you and your family.
